Konstantin Tarashansky, M.D., F.A.C.S.

A board certified facial plastic surgeon specializing in the aesthetic and functional nasal surgery. Dr. Tarashansky is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery- an elite group of the plastic surgeons focusing on the facial procedures. After extensive training as a facial surgeon, he decided to enhance the level of his expertise even further by sub-specializing predominantly on the rhinoplasty. His educational background as an otolaryngologist, head and neck surgeon as well as an advanced fellowship training as an aesthetic face specialist allow combining of deep understanding of the functional and aesthetic aspects of nasal surgery.

Dr. Tarashansky’s passion for the facial and even more so for the nasal surgery was born at the age of 14. As a part of High School premedical program he was exposed to the department of Otolaryngology of the regional medical center and was intrigued and captivated by the intricacy of the surgery. This early experience was followed by almost four years of the medical study at the Medical Institution in Russia. His medical degree was completed in New York after relocating to the USA. The final commitment to the field was consolidated by completion a residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in New York, and advanced training in facial plastic surgery as a fellow of American Academy of Facial and Reconstructive Surgery in Alabama under mentorship of the world renowned facial plastic surgeon, E.Gaylon McCollough.

Dr. Tarashansky is a board certified Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, as well as in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery.

He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and a fellow of American College of Surgeons.

He combines the passion for the conscious, individualized patient care in the private practice setting with transferring his expertise to the young surgeons as instructor at Long Island Jewish Hospital and as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the State University of New York.

He is on staff at Northwell University Hospital at Long Island, University Hospital at Syosset, Long Island Jewish Hospital/Schneider’s Childrens Hospital, Brooklyn and Northport VA Centers, and Melville Surgery Center.

For his artistic work Dr. Tarashansky was nominated by his peers as one of the America’s top physicians in 2017.

He is an avid alpine skier and intimately involved in promoting sport of Polo in New York State.

Dr. Jay Youngerman

Dr. Jay Youngerman earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and Communicative Disorders at Long Island Jewish Hospital in 1983 and has been serving the Long Island community for the last 27 years practicing mostly out of his Long Island office. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the American Board of Otolaryngology, a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.

Dr Youngerman is past president of the Long Island Society of Otolaryngology (LISO), and is presently the Governor representing the members of LISO to the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (AAOHNS). He serves on multiple committees, both as chairman of the committee and members of others and holds a position on the Executive Board of Governors of the AAOHNS. Locally Dr. Youngerman is the Chief of the Division of Otolaryngology at North Shore Plainview, and is on the Board of Directors of the Melville Surgery Center. He has attending privileges and teaches at Long Island Jewish Hospital and Schneider’s Childrens Hospital. He has been the guest speaker and presenter at multiple medical meetings, community organizations and business community.

For his work he has been honored by his peers and Castle Connolly as one of the Top Doctors in the Metro Area every year since 1994 and as recently as 2010. In 2008, and 2009 he was honored by Newsday as one of their Top Doctors. Dr. Youngerman has received multiple other honors including repeat listings in Strathmore’s Who’s Who, including Professional of the Year. Dr. Youngerman’s special interests include Pediatric Otolaryngology, Swallowing and Upper Airway Disorders, Sinus and Head and Neck Surgery and Hearing Loss.

Konstantin Vasyukevich, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Konstantin Vasyukevich is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon specializing in artful treatment of the aging face, eyelids, and neck. He performs more than 1,000 facial cosmetic procedures annually, making him one of the busiest facial plastic surgeons in Manhattan.

The college is one of the nation’s premier research-oriented medical schools, and Dr. Konstantin currently serves as an assistant clinical professor there. Dr. Konstantin was then selected for facial plastic and reconstructive fellowship training at Mount Sinai Medical Center, a widely respected program within the medical community that offers some of the finest postgraduate training in the world for facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons.
